Children and Youth Ministries
Christ Church is committed to providing a nurturing environment for children and youth to learn and grow in faith. Our comprehensive programming offers opportunities for all ages, from babies through college students. Whether it's Kids Club, Sunday School, Bible School, Youth Fellowship, Mission Trips, Confirmation, Youth and Mentor Program, or Retreats, we strive to make our youth programs engaging, exciting, and meaningful. We believe that every child and young person has a place in our community and is valued for who they are.
An Up Close Look
Bigs and Littles
Our Bigs and Littles program at Christ Church is a wonderful way to introduce young children to the teachings of Christ. The program meets on the second Tuesday of the month from October through April and is designed for kids from birth through kindergarten, accompanied by an adult. The program is filled with engaging activities such as Bible lessons, crafts, games, and snacks that will help young children build their faith and learn important life lessons.
Kids Club
Every Wednesday night from October through March, children in kindergarten through fifth grade can join us at Kids Club for a kid-friendly meal and engaging Bible lessons. Our team of volunteers are dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment where kids can learn about God's love and make new friends.
Confirmation
The Confirmation program at Christ Church is an opportunity for 9th graders to gain a deeper understanding of their faith and the church's teachings. It is a year-long program that includes classes, discussions, and group activities. Our program aims to prepare students for the responsibility of being a confirmed member of the church, and to help them develop a stronger relationship with God.
Sunday School
Sunday School is an important part of our church family. We offer classes for children of all ages, from 3-year-olds to high school students. Our classes meet weekly September through April from 9 AM to 10 AM and provide an opportunity for children to grow in their knowledge of God's Word and develop friendships with other kids their age. We invite you to join us this Sunday and experience the warmth and love of our Christ Church family.
Youth Fellowship
At Youth Fellowship, we believe that by nurturing relationships with one another, we can better grow in our faith. Our youth group meets Sunday nights September through May for Bible study, games, snacks, and outings. We welcome all young people ages 6th grade through 12th grade to join us and become part of our community of growth and discipleship. During the summer, we have a once-monthly hang out to continue building relationships and stay in touch
Youth and Mentor Program
Our mentorship program provides a unique opportunity for youth to connect with caring adults in our congregation. Monthly gatherings give mentors and mentees a chance to build relationships, share experiences, and grow together. In addition, the program offers a yearly retreat for all participants, providing time for intentional reflection and spiritual growth.
